Charlestown Beach, Rhode Island and the remnants of Hurricane Noel

I'll keep this short as it is my first blog ever!

Because I've got this wonderful Canon Rebel Digital XTI camera, I'll be using this space as a means to share photos mainly and news of interest with family, friends and the like. I'm hoping to chronicle things that we may see, not see, or better yet take for granted with each passing day. We'll just have to see how it goes...

This weekend, I really tried to "capture" a few items of interest despite a growing pile of homework which is so conveniently procrastinated until late Sunday afternoon. However, by doing so, I was able to take quite the diversity of shots - more than 300 total, including a late season Nor'easter by the ocean, my beautiful, yet somewhat camera-shy wife Pam, my carefree sister Kerri and just things that I wouldn't normally look at - let alone snap a photo of!

This weekend was gratifying - it only gets better from here.

There's something undoubtedly intoxicating when she laughs like this. She's the epitome of youth, her inner child jumping off a cliff, but falling to the safety of my arms. It is quite refreshing :)
