Photo Project Two: Family, Warmth and Togetherness
Well, it's been a few weeks since I've updated my blog as a recent business trip to Europe and the holidays have sort of kept me preoccupied.
That said, you may recall Stephen and I conducted a poll to gain some insight from family and friends about what the consensus might be concerning our next photo project. It was neck and neck for a little while, but ultimately the theme "Family, Warmth and Togetherness" won by unanimous vote. So, our next round of photos will contain images that in some fashion fall into this category. We've set a deadline of January 31, but I will do my best to post some photos from Europe in the meantime.
Happy Holidays everyone!

The first snow
Well, better late than never. Winter is finally here.Today marks the first measurable snowfall we've seen this season. At 7:15 p.m., Johnston is nearing 10 inches of snow with a few hours left to go yet. I've been in all day today working on a team project for school, but still managed to take a quick break to get the mail - thus the image from my brief trek. It's really cool that the flash not only picks up, but seems to also blow up the snowflakes as they're falling.
So what's in store for tomorrow?
45 degrees and considerable melting.
Though I'll never understand the mystery behind New England weather, I'll take today over "hazy, hot and humid" anyday.
